About

As a designer with a background in environmental education, I strive to enhance community wellbeing and foster connections between people and nature.

I consider myself fortunate to genuinely enjoy my work. Whether I'm transforming a historic pottery studio into a park, brainstorming ideas for a community space during a charrette, collaborating with engineers on green stormwater infrastructure concepts, or experimenting with rain gardens in my own yard, each challenge within landscape architecture presents a chance to explore innovative, creative solutions. Thoughtful design can improve functionality, leverage the power of plants, improve living conditions for our neighbors, and unite communities.

My personal passion within landscape architecture lies in advocating for green infrastructure alternatives to private clients and addressing barriers such as maintenance needs, public perception, outdated ordinances, and more.

Outside of work, I'm slowly getting my motherhood sea legs with my adorable 18-month-old toddler, Roy. If I'm not on a walk with loved ones or introducing Roy to all things outdoors, you can likely find me tackling another home improvement project or experimenting in the kitchen.
